The desire to make a positive impact on people started when I was a youth.  I was always there to give a helping hand or a listening ear.  Not understanding the gift of HELPS, I became a people-pleaser, and my answer would always be "yes". Can you say, "no boundaries".

Well into my adult years, the passion to help people grew stronger, however, my dreams were blocked by fears of rejection and lack that stemmed from hurts and disappointments that were never addressed. Unfortunately (or fortunately), it took a failed marriage to face those hurts and disappointments that crippled me for so many years.

After going through counseling and coaching sessions, I began to understand the many second chances God had given me, but because I focused on the losses, I didn't embrace those second chances.  I soon discovered my spiritual gifts and God-given purpose in life.  I knew my purpose was to help people, but I didn't know in what capacity, and I was still overcoming pain from past wounds and my own negative self-talk.

In 2012, I was introduced to Life Coaching.  I attended a workshop on how to be a life coach and how to setup a coaching business.; however,  I did nothing with that knowledge.  I was stuck!!  I had no idea how to move forward. 

​

In 2016 while riding on a Merry Go Round in Canada, I had an epiphany.  If I continued to go around in circles, I will never move forward.  I then made a conscious decision to surrender to God. Through prayer and reading the Bible, the capacity of how I would help people was revealed.  The introduction to life coaching in 2012 was a divine appointment, and 8 years later in 2020 SoJourn Coaching-LLC was birthed.
